Summary:
As new forms of gambling become increasingly more available within Maryland it is important that Behavioral Health professionals and our Community Members understand the increased risks. This training will assist in developing a better understanding of what those risks are and why gambling activities are more dangerous than ever. Hear the stories of what it was like Then in our days of gambling compared to what we are hearing Now. Learn how to better recognize the signs, have the conversation, and be able to assist someone who may be at risk or already negatively impacted by gambling. This training is relevant to anyone who wishes to develop a better understanding of the changing landscape of gambling activities within MD and how they may be able to recognize, educate, and assist someone at risk.
