Clinical Case Consultation Calls are meant to be a resource for any and all clinicians who would like to gain support and consultation on any aspect of providing disordered gambling screening, assessment and/or treatment services. You do not have to currently be seeing any clients specifically for a gambling disorder in order to participate on calls. Calls can be used to discuss any topics around gambling disorder you would like more information about, ask questions, listen to case discussions, or of course present specific cases for discussion. Calls are interactive and designed to foster a synergistic learning community around the topic of problem gambling counseling.

Any counselor can participate in the Clinical Case Consultation Calls.

The Case Consultation calls are scheduled four times a month** and are moderated by Anthony S. Parente, M.A., LCPC, NCC, MAC, ICGC II, BACC. Each call is limited to 15 participants and is one (1) hour in length.

** Schedule may be altered due to holidays

NO IDENTIFYING INFORMATION ON CLIENTS SHOULD BE EXCHANGED AT ANY TIME.

The confidentiality of clients is a must at all times. Any counselor sharing any identifiers will be reminded of confidentiality rules.

All emergency calls should be made to on site clinical supervisors or to 911. These supportive consultation calls are not supervision calls nor are they meant to take the place of ongoing clinical supervision but rather serve as an adjunctive, mentoring and consultation service in concert with each counselor’s ongoing clinical supervision.
