Donna Gaspar is the Communications Manager for the Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling (the Center) and has been an integral part of the Center since its inception in 2012. She develops and manages all aspects of the Center’s public awareness initiatives and clinical training programs. To this end, Donna works closely with the Center’s Program Director, other Center staff, as well as key stakeholders to expand the awareness of gambling, problem gambling and gambling disorder, and to increase the capability of organizations to provide help and hope to all Maryland residents. Donna has over 35 years experience in communications, marketing and event planning for a variety of industries. This experience includes: the development of communications such as newsletters and product instructional guides; managing marketing projects such as new website content and project launch initiatives; and designing and executing training events from conferences of 500, divisional training programs of 1,000 to international incentive programs for 3,000.
